our meal was good but the bill was a frustration that I don't need. I was given copies of my gift cards used, but, the one duplicate was another's original.

with mix ups like that & no revised bill, I went to the overcrowded cashier area. I explained to our waitress that she gave me an incorrect gift card receipt & no updated bill. another server (manager?) passed her the updated receipt & she told me a manager would go to my table. I said that I didn't need the manager, just the updated receipt to pay my bill.

the manager came over & asked. I told him pointedly that she "*** up" & I had to request my updated bill & the gift card story. he looked puzzled (or ***) & asked if I wanted a copy of my bill (which I just told him that I got from the cashier). I told him, "no more paperwork!" I paid my bill; I docked the waitress $2.00 for my frustration; she still received a 17% tip when she could have received a 20% tip.

ugh! i'm taking a break from bonefish in Lancaster, PA.

good thing: my dine rewards WAS entered properly (i'm sure not by the waitress 'cause it was her 2nd day...an excuse for a messed up bill) & I will receive 50% off up to $20.00 on my next meal at a few Bloomin' Brands locations. so, I might go to Outback instead.
